What is automated on this site

Some text on this site — player biographies and daily stat highlights — is generated automatically from real, verified statistics rather than written by a human. This is template-based generation: a fixed sentence structure filled in with real numbers pulled directly from our data pipeline.

What this site does not do

This site does not use a generative AI model (like a large language model) to write free-form articles, opinions, predictions, or narrative content. No text on this site is produced by prompting an AI to "write about" a player or team — every generated sentence is built from a template with real data substituted in, and only from data that is actually available and verified.

When data is missing

If the underlying statistics needed for a piece of generated content aren't available, that content is not generated at all, rather than filled in with a guess or an AI-invented placeholder.

We believe readers should know which parts of a site are automatically generated. Everything described above is accurate as of this build, and this page will be updated if that changes.
